We will continue to update Student Search based on your feedback. See our release notes below:

Version 1.1


  • An 'All Schools' version of Student Search now exists. This is accessed by changing the Campus Calendar selector to 'All Schools' while viewing the Student Search tool.
  • New Filters:
    • Multi Name Search
      • This filter allows you to search multiple names at a time seperated by either commas or new lines. There are 3 categories for Multi Name Search:
      • Exact - Match the full name exactly (First Last Format i.e. John Smith)
      • Contains - Finds the names that include your text: best for partial names
      • Similar - Finds close matches for misspellings: may return multiple results
    • Service Type
      • Filter by Primary, Partial and Special Education Services
    • Enrollment Start and Enrollment End Dates
      • These have been split into four categories to remove ambiguity:
        • Before Enr. Start Date
        • After Enr. Start Date
        • Before Enr. End Date
        • After Enr. End Date
    • School
      • Allows the user to filter by schools (note: this filter will only be present if the user is viewing the All Schools version of Student Search.
  • User Group Override
    • A User Group Override tab has been added to the Settings page (Settings > User Group Overrides). This tab allows for specific User Groups to override the filter permissions from the General Settings tab.
      • Example: A district may hide the Homeless filter on the General Settings page to prevent users from seeing this filter, but then add a 'Social Worker' user group with permission to view the Homeless filter. This will allow members of the 'Social Worker' user group to see the Homeless filter, but it will remain hidden from all other users of Student Search.
  • A sequence column has been added for the filters in Settings > General Settings.
  • The location of the Clear/Filter button has been relocated to the left side in order to be closer to the other buttons in Student Search
  • Additional hover icons (i) have been added to certain filters which contain additional information about how that filter affects the Student Search results.
